Hi All,

I have multiple homepod minis in different rooms. Each one shows me my temp and humidity under cliimate, EXCEPT in one room where I also have a smart thermostat. In that room it only shows the thermostart reading (and no humidity) . I understand that apple prioritizes that reading but is there a way I can access homepod mini's values? For one I'd like to check the temperature readings in the room with two sensors (since both are in the room).

I have checked the climate tab and also the individual homepod minis info but couldn't find it.

Thanks,
Philly

PS: Is there a home/homekit forum on apple.com? All I can figure out is to post on homepod or maybe icloud. What am I missing? I think macrumors forums are excellent just curious what else you can recommend.

When you go to the HomePod Mini’s settings, do you not see a section that says “Accessories?” That’s where the temp and humidity sensor readings live.

Reddit has a lot of subs dedicated to HomeKit, HomePods, individual HomeKit device manufacturers, etc. I believe 9to5 Mac has a forum and AppleInsider does as well.

I had a similar issue. I removed the HomePod mini from the Home and then reinstalled the HomePod. Then temparatuire and humidity showed up in Home app.

I do not have accessories on that Homepod so maybe it is just a glitch. I'll delete and add on later. Thank you.

I've never gotten into reddit and will need to give it a try. It seems like an excellent resource. I'm more a forum guy so I'll try the other two. Thanks for the tip

Just a heads up, while a pretty good resource for just about anything out there, Reddit users can also be very toxic. If you’re an avid internet/forum user, I’m sure you can learn to let that roll off the chin. The internet brings out everyone, good and bad, that society has to offer lol.

Funny you said that. I just replied to another one of your replies that in general I appreciate forums and the thoughtful replies one gets. But yes, I’m well aware abiut the crap that people write.

On the HomePod mini. As Davidglenn wrote it was just a glitch with the HomePod and unrelated to installing the thermostat.
