Horizontal lines on back of iPhone 6

Anyone actually like this look? The horizontal lines on the back of the device (#1) kind of look out of place to me. Of course nothing is finalized yet. I actually REALLY like the look of the all black matte finish (#2) for the backplate. Thoughts?

It is what is no matter if we like it of not. The lines will not be seen by me after slipping in the Sedio surface case. I am looking for function.

I like the first one, with visible horizontal lines.

I think I prefer renderings without them but I still think they look quite smart. I certainly prefer them to the look of the 5S.
