How are the new MBP 13" and 15" for Design and animation making?

Which Mac will be good for 2D,3D design and animation making, and music production?

New MBP 13", MBP 15" or low end Mac Pro? The cheaper the better.

You don't need a Mac just because you are doing design work.

3D would benefit from MacBook Pro with discreet graphics card (15" and 17").

Wait for thunderbolt. And if you want eSATA, go with 17".

The current 13 inch i7 does well from first hand (as a witness) experience. The 15 inch is probably even better.
