Well, I ordered Tiger by the up-to-date form that came in the box when I bought my new PowerBook and sent it in through Apple via US mail (paying by credit card). So how do I found out my order status?

you won't know until you get it. who knows how long that might take. We're all checking ours online through the apple store order status page. Since you mail ordered you'll just get it when you get it. might be able to check with apple by calling though.
