Hardware:

1) Late 2015 iMac 27" 5K w/ 3.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 32GB RAM, and AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB
2) LG 27UK600 (which is the exact same panel / monitor as the LG 27UK650 and LG 27UK850) 4K @ 60Hz monitor (released in 2018)
3) Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor, HDMI cable to monitor

Issue:

The monitor connects ok to my iMac, and according to the system report, it is connecting at 2160p: "Resolution: 3840 x 2160 (2160p 4K UHD - Ultra High Definition)" However, the UI doesn't look good: "UI Looks like: 1920 x 1080 @ 30 Hz". There seem to be no options for utilizing HiDPI, which were available in previous versions of MacOS... but are nowhere to be found in Mojave?

How can I solve this so I'm able to utilize HiDPI? Without it, the screen is unusable for anything but watching movies, TV, etc... I will mention that I am getting this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013PWQPFS/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 delivered at the end of the week, but will it solve this issue?
