I have InsomniaX but I have one quarrel with it. I would like when I close my screen for the display to sleep, but the machine to stay on. This can be accomplished if I click "Sleep Display" on InsomniaX and then enable Insomnia. However, I would prefer if this was automated.

Have you tried going into System Preferences, under Energy Saver, the sleep options, putting both the slider settings to NEVER, and unchecking the box - Put the hard disk to sleep when possible? I think that worked when I was transferring my iTunes over to my Macbook and I didn't want it to sleep.
