Years ago I think I blocked a gaming website but I've forgotten the name of it.

I blocked it using Terminal and I think I used the 'sudo nano' method but I"m not totally sure (I must have just Googled quickly how to do it).

NOW: When I use the command "sudo nano /etc/hosts". I get the autogenerated text but there are no domains listed.

Does that 100% confirm I do not have any sites blocked? Could I have used an alternative Terminal command to block the site and just haven't uncovered it?

Wasn't it in the "/private/etc/hosts" file ?

No, there are no sites visible when I use the command.

Hence I'm uncertain whether I still have the site blocked.

Is there a alternative method to block sites using Terminal, which I might have used?

EDIT: All I get is this:

##
# Host Database
#
# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
# when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.
##
127.0.0.1 localhost
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1 localhost
fe80::1%lo0 localhost

I checked and it's the "/etc/hosts" used for blocking website.
It seems you can block website too with "Parental Controls"
