iPod touch How do I completely wipe my iPod Touch?

I'm selling my iPod Touch (1st gen) 32GB on eBay in the next week or so.

How do I go about completely and safely wiping it before I sell it?

You can go to Settings>General>Reset and use "Erase All Content and Settings" which will securely wipe everything including the operating system so when it is finished which can take some time, you will need to do a restore to whatever firmware you want and then set it up as a new device.

Click restore to factory settings too.
