I was trying to setup a bootable USB for a Mavericks OSX install last night, after various googling, youtube videos and articles i gave up and just downloaded and installed Yosemite.

However when i was trying to follow this article http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/apple-in-the-enterprise/how-to-create-a-bootable-usb-to-install-os-x-mavericks/ , when trying to setup a Mavericks bootable USB, I copied and pasted this code to Terminal:

Code:
defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE;\killall Finder;\say Files Revealed

Now I see hidden files and folders all the time in HD and some on my desktop, how do i reverse this?

Thanks Anyone!
