Double press the home button and you're able to see your most recent contacts via circles. Is there a way to get rid of this annoying iOS 8 feature?

Any insight or help as to get rid of these would be very appreciative.

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Scroll down to the "Contacts" section, and you will see "Show in app switcher". Turn it off.

Yes it's annoying.

It allows you to send and receive SMS from your laptop/iPad through your phone over Bluetooth (or Wifi?). Not sure why it would end relationships.

EDIT: Oh and answer/make calls.

A guy will be texting with his um girlfriend, and his wife will be using the shared iMac and she'll read messages like, "Yeah baby, that pic is hot, but take it all off for me."

Ah ok I see how that could happen. We don't have a shared computer which is why it didn't cross my mind.

It's not, a lot of people don't like it. It's a bizarre feature.

I need some help please.
Are these contacts in the circles people that we have been in contact with or who have contacted us?

My boyfriend swears he is not in contact with this certain woman, but she is always one of the names in the circles, and most of the time the first one. He swears that he doesn't call her but that it is she who keeps calling her

This has been going on for months now.

It's based on a lot of factors, like location and call/text frequency. I don't think it makes a distinction between who calls who, so she could only be calling him. It's just an algorithm, so it's not proof on its own.

Just to be clear, the new iOS 10 favorites widget shows contact options the user tagged as a favorite. It is not an automatic list based on the factors from the old app switcher widget.

Not that its any of my business but why are you checking up on your boyfriend...

From my experience, the circles used to show who I was in most contact with that day. If someone shows up, we communicated. End of story.
