I want her to say the word period instead of putting the punctuation mark. How to?

I don't think it's possible. Kinda sucks though...

Instead of saying for example: "I'm not going there period" say I'm not going there spell period. It works for me

I just tested it by saying "I've got to go to first period." and she composed it perfectly. I'll note that I said "I've got to go to first period period". She knew to spell out the first period and use the punctuation mark on the second.

    Works a treat for me.

What are you guys talking about?

Desired text: "One orbit is one period, right?"

Me: "One orbit is one period comma right question mark"
Siri "One orbit is one., Right?"

Me: "One orbit is one spell period comma right question mark"
Siri: "One orbit is one spell., Right?"

Me: "One orbit is one p-e-r-i-o-d comma right question mark"
Siri: "One orbit is one key ERROD, right?"

    So ...it's impossible?

Well in the UK we call a 'period' a full stop and that works with Siri and dictation.

I forget where I read this, but here is how you do it:

"One orbit is one no cap on no space on p e r i o d no space off no cap off comma right question mark"
