iTunes won't recognize my iPod because of my iPod showing only the boot logo after Jailbreaking with QuickPwn 2.2. It's unresponsive and will show only the apple boot logo.

*iTunes doesn't respond when I plug the iPod in. I am using iTunes 8 on Mac OSX 10.5.6

So, I believe I can fix this by restoring from DFU Mode? How do I do this? If I can't do this is there any other way?

Thank you very much.

right hopefully the following steps will help you get your iPod back on track

plug iPod into mac (it should startup to the bootscreen as per normal for you)

hold down the home and power buttons down till the device goes off

wait a couple of seconds (the next steps will have your iPod display appear as if it is powered off and nothing is happening.... this is normal)

now hold the home and power buttons again and count to 10

when you get to about 8 get ready to let go of the power button only

now that your are still holding down the home button count a further 10

and your mac should now detect the iPod in recovery mode go ahead and restore as normal.

May I ask what Mac you're using to do it? :)

You'll have problems using the new unibody MB and MBPros :(

If you use any of those, let me know, I'll post up the patch to fix it :)
