How do you burn photos to a DVD so you can view it on a DVD player?

How do you burn photos to a DVD so you can view it on a DVD player?

I tried using iPhoto and even iMovie and when I try to play it on a DVD player, it doesn't work.

There is no more iDVD for mavericks, so what is the best way to do this? Thanks

iMovie lets you send the project you created to iTunes. From your iTunes find the project and burn it to a dvd. Sorry I don't have exact step by step directions, I just did it for the first time but it can be done.

Ok create your project, then select file, share, iTunes. Once it's saved in iTunes find the project from the movies list, click on it so it's selected then from file click on burn. Now I've done it twice. Good luck!
