How do you preserve the formatting when copying and pasting to Blogger or Google Doc in Mac?

When I copy a block of text from a website into Blogger or Google Docs, in Mac, the formatting is not preserved, although it is preserved in Windows.
 
Now it's working for some reason. Not sure why it wasn't working.
