How do you tell if your iPhone 3GS is still under warranty?

    1 year from purchase date, unless you bought AppleCare which extends your warranty to 2 years.

    My wife & I can't remember if it's been a year or not. Her phone is acting up. There should be a way to check it, if you ask me.

    The 3GS model came out June 19th 2009.
    So if you got it on launch day your 1 year is up today.
    But you can find out for sure by punching in your serial number here:
    https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

    Look at your reciept from when you purchased the iPhone and add 365 days, that is when your standard one year of Apple Care is over.
