How does the iphone fair against heating up?

I plan on getting an ip5 but i wonder how the iphones feel when they heat up. With my nexus it heats up pretty quick and to a pretty hot temperature while on the browser over 4g lte. It gets a bit too hot to the point where it feels a bit too hot to touch.

Mine will get warm if I'm downloading a large file over cellular in a poor signal-strength area. Or if I'm downloading something (again, over cell) while charging.

Normal behavior. The Galaxy Nexus, however, has notoriously bad radios, which cause it to crank up to full power quite frequently, resulting in the warmth you feel (and the poor battery life). I know - I used to have one (well, still do but never use it).
