Use my phone for calls and average talk time for me is around 1 hour and 40 min.
Will I be able to get through a whole day of use with the iPhone 7 (Verizon) or iPhone 7 + (Verizon).

If I get a iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case will it increase the SAR.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Battery life on the 7plus is outstanding. I've had it ta month and a day and a half is the norm. I opted for the jet black 128GB which I won't fill, but is very fast and a significant update.. \love mine.

If you purchase an Apple iPhone battery extender, it will certainly increase the capacity. I do not own one by comparison, but they do work.

Sounds like you should be fine, but it depends a lot on your usage (not just calls, unless that is all you do), your cellular signal, etc.

Thank you, Just one last question - how is the call quality on the phone [both handheld (earpiece) and speaker (speakerphone)]. Thank you for your time.

Can't say I've noticed any difference between my 6 plus and the 7 plus as far as call audio goes. Both were / are excellent on speakerphone or used normally.

If you are worried about SAR ....you should probably stay away from the iPhone as it is one (competing with Huawei and ASUS) of the worse!!

    iPhone 7 (A1660, A1780 / A1779 / A1778)
    SAR (Over 1gr) – Body: 1.19 / 1.20 / 1.19 | Head: 1.20 / 1.19 / 1.19 – Limit: 1.6 W/kg
    SAR (Over 10gr) – Body : 1.39 / 1.38 / 1.34 | Head: 1.37 / 1.32 / 1.38 – Limit: 2.0 W/kg

    iPhone 7 Plus (A1661, A1786 / A1785 / A1784)
    SAR (Over 1gr) – Body: 1.19 / 1.20 / 1.19 | Head: 1.20 / 1.19 / 1.19 – Limit: 1.6 W/kg
    SAR (Over 10gr) – Body : 1.39 / 1.38 / 1.34 | Head: 1.37 / 1.32 / 1.38 – Limit: 2.0 W/kg

Yesterday I was on a 5 hour flight and for about 4 hours I was deleting and editing photos on my 7plus,
hence the display was kinda constantly on (ca. 40% display brightness though).
While editing photos the phone got really hot, so I had to turn it off a view times for a minute or
so to cool it down a little. Most of the time I also listened to music with the airpods...
When I got of the plane I still had 54% battery left on my phone and about 30% with the airpods.

Really, really enjoying the 7plus and the airpods!!

Outstanding? you must not be using your phone too much. The battery life on my iPhone 7 Plus isn't that great, do you mind sharing some of your settings? do you have spotlight search on for all your apps? do you have location services enabled?

Location on, spotlight off...That's about it really...find a good day and a half...A lot of messaging but maybe only 10 calls a day. That might be the key.

well if you only text and make calls of course the battery will last a day but if you run apps or play a game or 2 like CSR RACING the battery doesn't last 5 hours

I often finish the day with somewhere between 50 and 70% battery left on my iPhone 7

I'm usually closer to 35% or so on my iPhone 7 when I'm around those usage and standby numbers.

On days I finish with nearly 70% battery the usage is more moderate and only 4 hours or so on mine
