How long does it take Spotlight to log an entire HD and all attached drives?

I've got a series of SSDs with a lot of data on them, and have been rearranging them. The program I use with them (Kontakt, used for music production) has an option to Search Spotlight when files aren't found that I've used before and works very well. I'm assuming it's using the OS X Spotlight info to work. Anybody know how long it should take Spotlight to log all the new changes on my SSDs after I rearrange everything?

Few hours maybe?

If you open Spotlight and search for anything you will get a small progress bar if it is still indexing. http://apple.stackexchange.com/ques...potlight-indexing-status-progress-in-yosemite
