Hello. I am considering selling my recently purchased PowerBook 12" to buy one of those new iMac instead.

Maybe you guys can help me pick a price for it. If I can get enough for it, I might do the swith to an iMAc. I will try to find a buyer in my area (Montreal, Canada) so he/she can save on shipping, making the deal sweeter.

    Here are the specs:

    PowerBook G4

    12.1-inch TFT Display
1024x768 resolution No dead or stuck pixels
    1.33GHz PowerPC G4
    512K L2 cache
    768MB DDR333 SDRAM
    60GB Ultra ATA/100 4200 RPM
    NVIDIA GeForce FX
    Go5200 (64MB DDR)
    Full size keyboard
    10/100BASE-T Ethernet
    FireWire 400
    AirPort Extreme built-in
    Bluetooth built-in
    Mini-DVI out

    Mini DVI to S-Video Adapter
    Griffin iCureve Laptop Stand

(Original box, all software and documentation included)

    Thanks guys

It's the latest generation. I ordered it the day it was announced (April 19, 2004) and received it two weeks later. 4 months old then.

Oh yeah, I'll also add a sleeve to the bundle.

    Combo or superdrive?

You are probably looking in the $1200 - $1400 US range

i'd aim for roughly 90-95% of what you bought it for... probably closer to the 90% end... but that's just me... i wish my 800MHz 15" iMac was worth more though... i've always wanted a laptop... :(

looking at eBay's completed 1.33 12" G4 Powerbooks, I estimate you could get between $1400 and $1800 for it on eBay.

If you asked $1500 for it, I bet you'd get it.

    Thanks for all your replies.

I think I'll sell it on eBay once the iMac G5 start shipping. (I don't want to stay too log without a computer. ^_^ This gives me a few weeks to think about it and time to save for the extra cost of the iMac (with RAM, airport, bluetooth and HD upgrade)

I think I'll start the auction at 1,500 USD.

I probably won't sell the Griffin iCurve stand with it simply because it'll cost as much shipping this baby as what it's worth.
