How much does iPhone 4S charge you for international calls or texts?
That depends on your provider, not on the model of your phone.
Why not just use Skype or Viber?
Text messages from iphone to iphone are free.
Yes, but since Apple hate Samsung so much, texting a Samsung phone from an iPhone is three times as expensive.
My deal with O2 UK:
I call them to enable International features.
First Text is .50p
All data after that comes out of my normal monthly allowance at the standard rate.
The way to fix that is to only have friends that own iPhones.
Umm has nothing to do with what phone you have. Your provider would be best place to look for pricing.
In an ideal world, yes.
Charges into contacts to delete all those using non-Apple hardware...Oops, that's most of my buddies gone!
IIRC, this is for the iOS 4.x or newer. Since the iPhone 3G nor the iPhone 3GS on iOS 3.x or older isn't supported, nor (again, IIRC) uses iMessage, they will be treated as normal text messages, therefore bring you a charge from your provider.
Ah, sucks. I'm fortunate enough to have a couple of real mac freaks in my circle of acquaintances, whereas those using Android are pleasantly indifferent about it.
I think this depends on carrier.
Most carriers charge a flat fee per month (like $10-15 per month) for unlimited international texting. At least here in the US.
