Now that we are inspecting each others hardware :) thru these forums, I was wondering what amounts of memory you all put in your precious babies ;)

I would think everybody just goes to the max, with the memory prices being reasonable these days.

Why go to the max?
I have 512MB in my new iMac, it's enough for me... and for now :)
Maybe I add a second 512MB chip next year..
My dual G4 has 896 MB

I currently have 2 x 512Mb DIMMS in my QS, I'm thinking about maxing it out to 1.5Gb by adding an extra 512Mb DIMM, but currently I don't need it...and besides...I'm saving for when the new PowerBooks are released :D

hey, there's no option for 768?!

anyway, i've got 768MB in my TiBook 667. in my PC i've got 512MB.

I had just 10 options so I had to make a selection :)

You can always vote the option "just scraped together some modules and ended up with 768MB" ;)

I have two 512mb and one 128mb for a total of 1152mb. I want to get another 512mb to max it out but it is not really a necesary right now. I can get one for about $65 + shipping right now but I think they will go down even more with new powermacs being DDR. I will wait and see.

wondering if there is a store that will let you trade in your 2 256 chips for one 512 and pay the difference. anyone know??? if so that would be killer.

Power Macintosh 7600/132- 72MB
Mac IIsi - 5MB
Mac Plus - 4MB
PowerBook 100 -4MB
Mac Classic - 4MB

TI-83 Calculator - 32KB

I would get more memory for my PM but costs about AU$256 for 64MB
And my computer has a whole lot of different modules stuck in but they still interlace well

Since we're on the subject of calculator memory my TI-89 has 890KB (I think). Pretty bad for something that cost $179US (when I bought it, now it's $139:( )
Anyway, here goes:

iBook- 384MB
Macintosh Quadra 650- 64MB
Macintosh Quadra 605- 36MB
Macintosh Quadra 610- 8MB
Macintosh LC575- 36MB

AMD Athlon 1700+ - 768MB
