Just picked up a brand new iPhone X and wondering how stable the iOS 12 beta is. My biggest necessities are battery life, bluetooth and apple pay

Bluetooth can be kinda wonky.. but other than rhat. No issues. A respring here or there. But yeah pretty stable.

On my iPad it’s been smooth sailing. Experienced one bug on previous beta but that has been fixed on the current one. Check the iOS 12 forum for known issues.

I've had a Bluetooth issue to where when my phone's battery dies it renames all my Bluetooth devices to random characters, but on a brand new iPhone X that shouldn't be an issue. Other than that I've been here since day one and loved the update.

I’m on the latest public beta. I’m getting a few springboard crashes (usually in Messages) each day but that’s about it. With these crashes, this is actually the worst of the betas for me but it’s far from a big issue. Hopefully there’ll be another update in the next day or two.

PB4 works fine for me on both iPhone 7 and iPad Air 2.

I went straight from 11.4.1 to PB4, so this is the first iOS 12 beta I am running. The only real bug I have (common on this thread) is the missing Bluetooth icon in the top bar. However, that does not affect the actual Bluetooth connection, which works as expected.

iPad is noticeably faster, iPhone - hard to tell. Overall, iOS 12 does not bring any major changes, unless you are in the US and can benefit from the new Maps updates. The rest of the new features, IMO, are just the maintenance tweaks.

latest beta is pants for me anyway.lots of re springs, no notifications on messages, Facebook etc. then they suddenly appear then disappears. Was ok on beta 4. Hoping release 6 fixes these :)

It was mostly fine in terms of stability. Battery was still taking a hit. I had to revert back to iOS 11 yesterday, though, because while on roaming the phone would heat up a lot and the battery just drain really really quickly. It usually does while on roaming even if your Network Selection is set to manual, but the drain was very very drastic... from 86% to 45% in 90 mins and the phone just wouldn't cool down no matter what I'd do.
