My new MacBook Air M2 is great, so much so that I kept it longer than the two weeks I had to return and trade for a MacBook Pro.
However, I got it refurbished so didn't choose the colour. It's the yellowy silver colour Apple calls starlight. I thought this was a plus as nicks and scratches on the laptop itself shouldn't be as obvious as on the midnight one.
However, the braided cable is white. Whilst the braided-ness of the cable should make it much more resilient, it's also a magnet for muck and general grubbiness (e.g. drops of coffee, dust from cafe floors etc).
How do people clean their cables? It's going to be pretty disgusting by the end of the year.
