Hi, I'm trying to get rid of iPhone photo duplicates. I have organised iPhoto library, which I would like to use to replace iPhone photos, but when I synchronise iPhone with iTunes it leave and even adds duplicates to iPhone. Before syncing message comes up that it will leave a copy of each photo taken by the iPhone. I remember that in older iTunes there was an option available to wipe particular data (i.e photos) from iPhone and replace it with Mac content, but I can't find it in the latest iTunes.
Can anyone advice me how to do it properly so there would be no duplicates left on the iPhone and I don't loose any photos from iPhone?

First I suggest you backup your phone just in case.

In OS X, you can use Image Capture to select and delete all the pictures off the phone (or you can use that to backup all the photos to a folder if you want too). If you're on Windows, you can open My Computer (or whatever it's called these days) and find your phone in the windows. Then you can delete your pictures (or backup) as you please.

Next load up iPhoto and try to sync your pictures again.
