Remember when Hillary campaigned and said "what kind of genius can lose one billion dollars in a single year" ?

Well we got the answer and it only took him a few weeks to lose the billion. It has been reported that George Soros lost one billion dollars in the weeks following Trump's victory. I wonder how much money he would have made instead if Hillary won ?

Glad to see that old Nazi collaborator and concentration camp kapo take a hit where it hurts: in the wallet.

We should see years of both trump's AND Soros' tax returns.

And then we should remember who wants to be the chief public servant of the U.S.A.

It cracks me up how Soros gets right wingers panties in a twist. I literally never would have even heard of the man if right wingers hadn't started obsessing over him. I think he's very inconsequential.

But to the original question, I'll elaborate a little. I think there are probably lots of ways to lose a billion dollars in a year, but how do you lose billions of dollars in a year in the casino business? I mean the house is supposed to win right? And right out of the gate, Trump lost his shirt. That wasn't too swift. Even the most hard core of Trump supporters should agree that he should have done better than that, right?

If you had sofa cushions 10 inches square, and put $1 under each one, $1 billion would just about cover the land area of Manhattan Island.

Soros only frustrates me because it was never proven he didn't help fund some of the protests. Those buses in Austin weren't cheap and all those well made signs weren't free. Someone was footing the bill and it wasn't Hillary.

    Maybe it was grassroots funded...

Maybe someone else funded it, buses aren't that expensive... We are talking what, $10,000?

I went down to the protest site and some people were talking about how they got paid to come down there. It's more than just the buses and signs. I'm not saying it was Soros but he'd have the most monetary backing compared with others.

They've already shown that all photos of him depicting Nazi ties are fabricated.

Besides, there were plenty of companies that supported the regime. We don't throw Bayer or Volkswagen under the bus do we?

I'm not sticking up for Soros but the Nazi thing is unsubstantiated.

Edit: From what I've read, he may have worked with them for survival. Tell me, if you had a choice to suffer and die or throw others under the bus at the age of 14, what would the human survival instinct prompt you to do in that circumstance?

From the title, I was expecting this to be a thread about Apple forgetting to release updated iMacs, Minis, and Mac Pros, while blundering (in a way so grand that it had to be deliberate) the 2016 MacBook Pro.

This happens to me all the time. I think I have my 1B in my back pocket and then find out it's not there. Sometimes I find it in my other pair of jeans. Otherwise I know it's just another trip to the bank to grab my next billion. Frustrating.
