How to order online at 10pm?

This is how I got my iPhone 5.
it's very simple, if you go to the site right now the "buy now" button will be grayed out. Once it hits 10:00 PM you just go through the process of picking out your phone like you were ordering it online. Once you have it all picked out, when you check out it will have an option for store pick up. Once you click that, it will show you what stores are available for pick up. If you don't see a store you'd be willing to drive to, you just close out.
One thing to note, the stores available seem to vary throughout the first hour. My fiance for instance got hers at a store that was around 30 minutes away from where we live. Since she got one, I cancelled my pre-order from apple.com and did the same reservation and a store 5 minutes from my house had one available. So keep trying throughouth 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM. If you don't have any luck passed 11:00 PM I'd just try the next day.

You might want to use the Apple Store app on the iPhone to order. You can reserve for pickup once you get to around the next to the last screen for ordering. If they don't have stock, you can always cancel the order.

thats what im asking, but the associate told me that in the store it would work i just get how to do it online
It is most definitely local. The stock updates for me at 10PM EST and I'm in Michigan.
It goes by local time, not pacific because I completed my order at 10:01 PM local time in Texas.
You must order with a line or as an upgrade on a line but you can cancel it when you pick up the phone. They do a return on the phone and plan then they ring you back up for just the phone at full price.
Some stores have refused to do this - saw a couple reports in the online reservation threads. I had no issues at my local store though.
Well i was on apple.com, but i just dont understand how its possible to to even get to the screen where you can put in store pickup and buy it for full retail

hm thats a bit of a pain, its weird how they say i can buy it device only if i want i just dont know how i would do that online
I'll try tonight. I've tried pacific but I'm in eastern with no luck. Maybe tonight will be better.
Not Philly, but same for me.
If i didn't see other people getting phones, I would think this is the biggest SCAM ever...i try religiously every night for at least 20 min with no luck.
