I am developing some websites and want to be able
to check compatibility on all Browsers.

Is there a way to install all IE versions at once in VMware Fusion Windows 7 ?

    thanks !

This is something I've been meaning to look at since IE8 came out. Currently, I have IE7 installed on my Windows box and run Multiple IE to give me IE6 (and IE3, 4, 5 and 5.5 if I need them!). However, that app is no longer being developed, so we won't be seeing a version containing IE7 anytime soon unless someone takes on the development.

You only need IE 6 and 8. The rendering engine used in IE 7 is included in IE 8 as compatibility mode.

That's good to know - thanks. I knew there was an IE7 compatibility mode, but didn't realise it was the actual engine. That's my issue solved.

IETester does a very good job.

It allows you to open the different versions of IE in tabs and compare renderings side by side with a split view.

It is also free - even better. For me it is a more elegant approach than multiple IE.

There are some know limitations, but none of these are really show stoppers for most projects:
