iPod touch How to see track info?

With the old ipods there used to be a line that went across that let you know how far along your song is. Or even the minute count for the song where one side would go down as the other went up. How do I see these things on the ipod touch. Am I just not noticing a setting or is it really not there?

I tried that but I thought it just showed me the list of the songs in the album. It has all the time info too?

Just tap below the song playing at the top. The information bar opens up and gives you more information and options for repeat or shuffle.
