The title pretty much says it all. I have my sleep set for 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on some days. If I get up at 6:45, the watch is still in "sleep mode". I know how to turn that off but I still get a bong and a message eventually asking "are you up?". Seems like there should be a simple way to tell the watch "I'm up".

Just keep wearing it, it automatically detects that you’re up and will nudge you saying it looks like you’re already up.

yea. That seems to happen only if you are within a half hour of the scheduled wake up time and that happens even if you turn off sleep mode. And if you don't turn off sleep mode, the feature to unlock your Mac seems disabled.

Seems like there should be a way to tell it "I'm awake"

Slide up to open Control Center, then tap on the Sleep toggle to turn off Sleep Mode.

Yea. I still get a "are you up?" notification later when I'm within a half hour of waking up. So it still doesn't really "know" that I'm up yet.

Because i wake up sometimes early i set sleep schedule to end earlier than my wake up time.
If you set schedule from 10 to 6 and wake up at 6:34 for example, it will still track sleep until 6:34. Even if the watch screen is on Aod, it will keep tracking sleep. So it is better to set schedule end time earlier than your possible wake up time.
