Let’s say I tell Siri on my phone to play the top 40 pop songs. I can then look and see what song is now playing and the whole list of songs that are coming up. I can’t seem to find a way to do this on HomePod.

Is there any way to see what’s playing on HomePod anywhere without asking Siri and thus interrupting the music? I’d also like to be able to see what’s next, what’s in the playlist, etc. Possible...?

    Open Music App
    Select Now Playing
    Press Airplay symbol
    Don’t select HomePod in Airplay
Do select HomePod as separate device

Best solution is to open control center and open the music control and tap on the top right corner. There it will list all your airplay speakers and Apple TVs. Select the HomePod and you can even skip pause or rewind. A nice remote control for it.

Wouldnt it have be nice if they could've display that on the screen if you got close enough to trigger the screen with a proximity sensor or something?
