Actually I am as well. The Trump supporters I have talked to seemed concerned that the elites were ruining everything. OK, fine - I agree at least that the super-rich have disproportionate power compared to the rest of us. By the solution to the 'elite control' is to elect a capitalist robber-baron like Trump? Honestly I don't get it.

Most of the ones that I know are either women who are anti abortion, or people who just disliked Hillary enough that they would vote for anyone else. Of course I don’t know anyone who was for him early in the primary process before he became the presumptive nominee.

Didn't Hillary have such high negatives that it gave the edge to Trump?

Every time I hear a supporter say they wanted the country to be ran like a business I think of all the politics and the treatment of “low level” employees and cut throat practices that go on in the office.

I’m sure they meant well but that’s just what immediately comes to mind

And when I heard that - all I could think is that running a country is very different than running a country. Also - Trump has sunk many businesses.

For me Trump was bad enough to convince me to vote for Hillary, if it was anyone else running against her I would have either voted third party or for her opponent. There were a lot of people who felt the same way about Trump.

I think we should stop commenting on candidates and focus the thread on Trump and everything he is the greatest at. We don't need another thread which just continues the debate on who should be in the WH - because right now, it's Trump.

But we are all so tired of winning because of how great Trump is that we have to find something negative...

Ask Trump supporters if they dislike the “elites” who they think they’re voting for? The common man (billionaire) people?

Yeah, that will be seen as a joke in a few decades. If Hillary was a cold, Trump is cancer.

Then again, this is the party who hates Hollywood and corruption, but their hero Reagan was a Hollywood guy with one of the most crooked cabinets in modern history. Go figure that logic out...

This administration hit rock bottom about a year ago and they are still digging. “Worse” is quite frankly incomprehensible.

Well, today he said he knew nothing of Stormy Daniels’ payout... which means he never signed the “agreement”... which means a porn star and her lawyer are literally letting HIM win their case. It’s stunningly sad. And embarrassing.

At this point, I am finding that hard to believe. Hillary would have been status quo. Trump's MO is simply to screw everything up and make life worse for everyone, especially his own staff.

Can you smell that trade war on the horizon with the country that can actually cause prices on everything you buy to go up?!?!

Yep. Trump has accelerated some problems, failed to solve other problems, and created brand new problems all while exploiting loopholes in the system and throwing generations of precedence and throwing them in the trash.

Trump is the anti-Midas. And, the only salve is that the Trump era will be short and increasingly punishing for conservatives.

Trump is our first anti-President. Works for Putin, no class, no manners, his tweets matter when they mean nothing, Huckstersleaze and Conway tell us we’re dumb for paying attention to them when we read them and he incriminates himself...

When history looks back... it won’t be good. For you Trump supporters, do you think kids in 2100 will look in their history books and see Trump as good, business as usual, bad, or “how the f*** did this jack wad get a paycheck, let alone the presidency?”

First I want to see how the historians even write it up!

"For tomorrow, class, please read Chapter 45: When Infotainment Ruled the World."

Second, I just hope we all manage to get to a chapter 46.
