Interesting opinion piece at HuffPost about the, shall we say, lack of enthusiasm among the GOP elites for a Huckabee campaign. And she's right. The possibilities with his name are endless. As in, what's all the Huckabaloo about?
    Nothing like a little Huck'n'Jive....

    He has it coming apparently.

I remember hearing about this the last time around too. What would the fundamentalists have if they actually get what they wanted? We see so far what happens when they get some of what they wanted, lots of backlash, but let's say they outlawed abortion and gay rights. What else would they have to run on? As we've seen, most of what they're offering isn't great for most people and doesn't get butts in the voting booths. But by talking about it, they can get their support while doing nothing about it. What has the current administration done about abortion? Nothing but talk. Gay rights? They've slowed them, but it's inevitable, and I think they might actually be hoping for it to have another divisive issue where there really isn't. So now they have what they want, and he probably doesn't have a chance. If he does win, and actually does the things he's talking about, polls show it would be about as popular as the current President.

    Huckaboom starting to fade?

At least some polls are starting to show that the Huckaboomlet may fade as people become more familiar with him. That will be a relief to the Dems since some polls are showing the Huckster leading Clinton in potential match-ups in Ohio and Missouri, and behind her by only a point in Iowa.

(the bold text is for my emphasis)
