Damn, I was locked and loaded with a “how long until the kid is taller than you” but I come to find puppies instead.

    Congrats on the puppers!

    Well then, I'll ask...

How long until the puppies are taller than you?

Yes, when I initially clicked here, I, too, assumed that it was not about puppies.

Congrats, @jkcerda and enjoy the puppies & thanks for sharing.

    Wow.

The mom is a big dog; I daresay these little puppies won't stay that way for too long.

    What breed are they?

Actually, they are horribly and irresistibly cute.

That'll be Momma dog's job for the next while.

Mind you, I imagine that once they are weaned, some of them may be seeking out new homes.

    What is a GS?

    Akita pit mix - wow.

Yes, I can well imagine that Mom will be visiting the vet presently.

Lovely that they are both rescue dogs. Well done, you.

German Shepherd, they were both headed to the pound when I picked them up. Nikita is 4 years old while rocky is only 1. And he is taller than I am when he stands. I was only going to foster him and find him a good home but he grew on me. STUBBORN but still a good boy. , they LOVE to walk at night He’s a hand full for sure while she can be off the leash and not give any problems

Do you plan to have him visit the vet as well?

Two large dogs; well, I guess that the puppies will be a bit of a handful.

You should get one of those sled-dog training rigs, which is basically a musher's sled on wheels. That would be something to see running around at night.

Or learn to stay on a mountain board.

We used to do that when we were kids with the German Shepherd who lived down the street. Brakes? We don't need no steenking brakes!

All cats should be indoor cats. Chester is gorgeous! But I'm partial to orange tabbies.
