It seems like Apple would have made so if the software doesn't detect finger print like patterns it wont allow it. Im not going to try any other body parts as they are all to big to fit on the scanner like my elbow .

You would prob have to enter it multiple times to accommodate the various states. . I just googled it. Been done.

I will say that non fingerprint appendages do not work as well and take longer to input.
