I'm sure none of these responsible gun owners would ever let any of these fall into criminal hands. This is insane.

    Great!

    An untraceable, fully automatic weapon.

    I just couldn't be happier!

Please read the link. They aren't fully automatic.

And my 12 gauge, single shot, shotgun is not traceable.

    Sorry...my error.

However, for someone with his skills, would it not be easily convertible to automatic firing?

Absolutely. But that is true of just about any semi automatic weapon. With enough skills and tools, you could convert a 12 gauge to full automatic.

I have the skills and the tools, and it would be fun to to it to one of my weapons, however doing so violates many federal laws. I prefer to stay on the good side of the law.

    news flash....

anyone with even basic machine shop skills can make a functioning firearm....

also, i hope the guy in video realizes he has now gone on record for possessing a firearm that is illegal in CA. He is in violation of the CA law that says you can have an AK, but it must have a permamently attached magazine.

Hope his stupid liberal ass winds up in jail...

Didn't I read somewhere that more AK47's have been made than people on the planet? Of course this statistic is helped by the number of people that have been killed with AK47's in the world.

You may have read it but think about how ridiculous that sounds? There are almost 7 billion people on Earth.

    He worked for MoJo.

And he destroyed a perfectly good firearm.

What more evidence do you need?

    ;)

A quick web search shows the figure to be closer to 90 million. Of course that doesn't include the unregistered ones from above.

    Meh. They sound too flimsy.

When you're taking down the tyrannical government, you'll need something sturdier.

Lol@ taking down a government with ANY gun. That would take a special kinda stupid right there

I'll eventually have both, but the AR is most expensive and must accurate.

I can pick up an AK for 600 bucks.

I heard the government is massively buying and hoarding it to keep it away from gun owners.

    I don't buy that.

    Sounds like another conspiracy theory.

What I do believe is gun owners are worried the gun nuts in office are going to try to ban guns or go after ammo so they are stockpiling

I thought "gun nuts" we're those in favour of more guns, not fewer.

Murderer! He wantonly tortured and killed a perfectly good gun! What did it ever do to him to deserve such an ignominious fate?

No, the real nuts are those that want to ban guns.

With as many lives that are saved with guns, you'd have to be a nut to want to ban them

Gosh. There are days when I really think that more divides Europe and the US than the Atlantic Ocean. Or the English language.

I've heard the same from a few people and have read it in many places as well. It seems it's true.

    I, Robot-Gun

Although smart-guns are an exciting new paradigm, until guns become sentient, few are likely to view the murder of guns as a compelling moral dilemma.

We're still yet in the remote-controlled flying gun era. Fully autonomous flying-guns are still very experimental...

It'll probably a good 25-50 years before the first self-aware gun argues on his/her/its own behalf in court. Maybe even a bit longer... Nothing our grandchildren can't handle.

Looking at the problem from a purely logical standpoint, if you need a gun to protect yourself from a gun then there is a simple solution to the problem.

Just get rid of the guns.

If you need a gun to protect yourself from a gun.

You are still left with some need to protect yourself, but there are many other ways to achieve that.
