I have been wanting a new lap time for some time now, I currently have a 3 year old 13" MBP 160gb 2.26ghz and its been a great machine for what I do. Anyways I have been thinking of getting the $1499 MBA as my new replacement but was waiting until they announced the new 13" MBP, what a disappointment that was. Well walked in the store looked at the Air and the screen then played around with the 15" rMBP and WOW that screen looks amazing, it's in my trunk now waiting for me to get off work at 11:30 tonight. The computer will sit on my coffee table most of the time and I have the new iPad some I'm good for any travel needs. What do you think a good price for my used 13" MBP with the 160gb would be ? Oh anything I should know about my new Mac ?

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

Congrats, the rMBP 15" is amazing. I love mine and have no issues at all, not even lag or IR.

Mine is a 2.3/16/512, what did you get?

Thanks I could not see paying $2799 for the maxed out one so the $2194 on sale by not much will be amazing compared to my 13" for sure.
