I actually did tell you so:

Been over 2 weeks since the iphone X was released and the novelty of it has well and truly worn off. You just need to scroll through all the headings in the main forum to see that this device isn't exactly worthy of a 10 year anniversary iphone.
Some are bored with it.
Scratches easily around the steel band.
Face ID not proving to be the game changer that Apple made it out to be.
People who bought the X who said they wouldn't be bothered by the notch, are bothered by the notch.
Some people are surprised to find that the usable space is not as big as the Plus screen (seriously don't you guys read threads on here, there was only like 15 of them dedicated to this before the X was released?).
Problems with screen colour.
People missing touch ID and its reliability, speed and ease of use.
Complaints about the price.
Eye strain complaints.
Oled burn.
Issues with tap to wake.
And so many many more issues.
Some of you are happy with the X and that's great. But there are many who are not and that's a shame.
This was supposed to be Apple's biggest ever iphone release, and there's been more letdowns, regrets, disappointments, frustrations and feelings of underwhelment than all of Italy combined when they were ousted from the world cup the other day.
Sure there's been no real #gate issues, but the collective of the above is far worse than any gate issue that has gone before.
As I said in another post, the X was supposed to be the biggy. This phone was years in the making. It was supposed to be a monster device. And this is what Tim Cook delivered, a device with problems and issues a mile long.
And if you think the X will not be boring next year, think again. This is Apple, it will bring in changes at snail's pace. Next year there will be the A12 man of steel chip, because this year's chip was a slouch, a Plus model size (expect this to be next year's killer feature), a slightly better camera and another 6 anamojis you can get your face around. And fark all else.
So if you're hoping next year, or the year after, or the year after that, and so on, will finally bring you an interesting iphone that won't leave you feeling bored after 2 weeks, then you will be disappointed once more.
In 4 years time when Italy makes amends and qualifies for the 2022 world cup, a whole generation of iphone users will still be disappointed with the latest and greatest iphone.
Some issues are temporary, but others (Tim Cook) never go away.
