At least they're trying to get a handle on this battery life issue...

This looks like you got an email from Tim Cooks assistant, Paula.

It also looks like I said "(Kind of...)" plain as day in the title.

It seemed like were being sarcastic toward me as if I insinuated that I actually got an email from him... apologies if not.

That's cool -- are you going to use the script and send them your logs?

I emailed in hopes for a change and if this can help in any way, then absolutely. You don't bitch about the president and not then not vote do you? :p

Ask them about the option of changing screen temperature.

Wow.... Awesome!! Your life is complete!!

You got an email from a secretary (a canned response at that) in a company that is pretty well known for returning people's emails. Nothing to see here folks, move along.

I think it's pretty awesome that I get to help participate in usage diagnostics. It's not like I'm the only one in the world, but it's still cool to me. And frankly, I really don't care what you think.

Please click here and find something better to do with your time.

How do I get that profile on my phone without contacting Apple support?

Are you getting the advertised 200hr standby time? ie 8.3 days. Ask about that. I'd be interested in the response.

Heck no. Maybe if I didn't touch it I'd get 30 hours. Nothing more. (Serious)
