My dad is a freelance Videographer and he and I got hired by ABC News to cover the Obama Victory Party in Grant Park Chicago and to possibly cover an interview with Barack Obama. If all goes according to plan, I'll be meeting Senator Barack Obama!

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    My life will be complete.

If you meet him, please ask him to get his body man — Reggie Love — to get in touch with BV at MacRumors. I have an itch that needs scratching. Grrow.

Oh, and tell him I thought his peanut butter and jelly sandwich joke was a bit lame.

    That's BV. MacRumors. Cheers. ;)

Congrats on the job Prof.! Is it a full time gig or just for this event? I hope you get to meet Obama.

It's a one time gig from early morning to... well... however long it takes to get all the votes in. So maybe 2am? ABC will be paying me 25-30 bucks an hour plus overtime.

I will be in Madison for work. :(

I might be going to an election party at some colleague's house.

It's highly presumptuous to assume that he'll win.

It'd be suspicious in the extreme if he didn't.

How exciting! Congrats Prof., and good luck!

You know, if you need a date for the occasion we can totally overlook any current engagements or conflicts in sexual persuasion for the evening. I'll hold the mic or something... ;)

    Fixed that for ya.

Assuming that he wins, that is.

As to prof, enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Fantastic news -- I read that you were up for the gig earlier today.
What's better than the money and rubbing elbows is the fact you may very well be watching one of the most significant events in American political history happen before your eyes.

Well, the camera's eye. You pay attention to your work!
