This thing is AMAZING!!!

I bought the 20Gb iPod through the refurb store + it is in perfect condition.

Did have one slight moment when I first connected it. It got extremely hot + I decided to disconnect it + let it cool down before I continued to charge it. I guess putting 2500 songs on + charging from scratch was quite a lot for it. At one point the lower part of the screen started changing colour!! As soon as it had cooled it went back to normal. Have reconnected it again + it is charging nicely now. Guess the combination of putting all those songs on + charging was a little much.

I am so happy.

out of curiosity, how much did it cost to get it in refurbished form?
Here in the UK, my refurbished 20Gb iPod was £279.33. As a reference, the new 15Gb iPod costs £299 here. So, I got a larger capacity iPod that was cheaper. Plus, my iPod is in perfect condition - cant see a reason why it was sent back.

Hope you enjoy that iPod.

I'm supposed to be getting a 30GB iPod here sometime soon, it finally shipped, and ironically out of a Taiwan plant! I checked my FexEx detailed tracking, and my iPod is currently sitting at some FedEx warehouse in Taiwan awaiting shipping.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I need to change my sig.

Cool!! another happy iPod ownly. Got my 30GB 3 weeks ago. Its awesome. Now I never leave home with out it. It is constantly with me. Love it to bits.

enjoy the ilife....

The iPod does get hot when charging, up to the point where holding it from its behind can burn you.

But it won't hurt your new device, big guy.

Enjoy using it.
