i have a apple //c and dont have the dos disk

i went to another forum and realy need help my problem is that i have a apple llc and the disks needed to start it up and run adt got throwen out in the trash and i cant seem to resend the dos software to the apple and i used adtpro but nothing happens. and my serial nullmodem cable works as far as i know. i know when you set up the software to send dos to the apple you press in#2 then ctrl-A as you get a ? then i press 16b and the adtpro says then it should transfur the dos to the apple screen then to disk. am i doing somthing wrong. i boot the apple and i get no disk in drive. how do i get dos to a disk so i can then geet adt to disk as well thanks the other forum was no help
