So what does everyone think of the new trackpad

I love the new MBP look and love it more than the older one.

But the trackpad is weird. I'm not getting the clicking and is it made of glass? really ?

Give it a few days. I'm sure you will get use to the feel.

I don't find it annoying or different. I'm still clicking with my thumb like I used to.

    Hello,
My name is John Titor, I am a traveler from the future urging you to steer clear of this line of MBP's. In the near future apple will release yet another line of notebooks using a new technology called 'transparent aluminum'. They have their best engineers working on it as you read this. I can assure you of this.

Well after the success of the iPhone Apple decided Cut and Paste is redundant and no longer needed…

The trackpad is the physical button.

You do it just as you would on the old model, click the trackpad and move your other finger across to highlight the text.

The whole trackpad is a physical button. It actually seems like it may be easier then having to move your finger down to the button. Just scroll and click, Would not be surprised if new laptops adopt this idea.
