iPhone 12 Pro Max I have my phone’s brightness set at 50% and when I went to put it full brightness it stayed the same brightness from 50%? It isn’t changing when swipe

Also my 13 pro max screen when waking / unlocking it stays dimmed for a half second before going to the brightness it’s set on. Some sort of lag/bug ?

Could be a software bug, try restoring your device, if that doesn’t work, it might be a hardware issue, contact apple.

Check your display settings. Settings -Display & Brightness - Text Size/Bold Text.
