Hey friends,

I ordered myself a new macbook pro at apple.com yesterday and I got an AMAZING deal because my buddy let me use his employee discount. I ordered the expedited shipping because I am just coming to the united states to visit my family and i won't be here long.

This is my question:

The following information is on my order page:

MBPRO 17/2.33/2G/160/256VRAM/SD-DL-USA
MA611LL/A
Ships by: Dec 16 - Dec 18
Delivers by: Dec 19 - Dec 21

Im guessing if it ships on Dec 17th it will arrive on the the 20th and if it goes on the 18th... it will arrive on the 21st?

Today is the 17th. Does apple ship on sundays?

Thanks!
Rian

Aside from some overnight services, most shipping services in the United States do not ship on Sundays, so no. Good luck with your buy. :)

Tsk, tsk, you're complying with the rules of this employee discount, I hope? ;)

Blast everything! hahaha

Oh and yes. I am abiding. He used his once a year discount to buy and then sold it to me at no profit. Fully within the rules. :)

What should happen, however, is that you can check your order online (if it was ordered with his account, he needs to login or give you the appropriate info) and you will be able to get a shipping service / tracking number once it ships. Then you can check it online and you will get a specific delivery day estimate from the shipping company. :) Good luck!

Its probably none of my business and I know I shouldn't but I have just got to - How much was it? :D

If it was a custom build, you could be waiting as long as a couple of weeks to have it shipped.

I ordered my Dual 2.7 G5 at the same time as an iPod, Kensington Dock, and a couple other accessories in August 05, and everything except the G5 showed up within a couple of days... The g5 took somewhere around 3 weeks to arrive, because it was build-to-order.

Merry Christmas, from Apple
