10:41AM Q: I can't get my Bold to drop right now, maybe you can show me how to do it?
Steve: You may not see it in certain areas.

He didn't blame blackberry. He was just showing how this is not a "new" problem for cell phones. They all have "weak spots". My sister has a bold, and I replicated the death grip on it, and the bars dropped. So it does indeed exist on it as well. It simply isn't a huge public affair unless it's an iPhone issue.

Not really. He was just stating a fact. I can "death grip" my iPhone at my house... No bars dropped, but when I am at work and "death grip" it drops bars (less cell strength). Same holds true for the other phones he gave an example of.

It's a combo of the antenna and the cell strength.

The questioner is the retard. It's indeed impossible to get the bars to drop in certain areas with extremely strong reception when doing the death grip.

Wow. I hope you don't approach life with that logic.

19 posts in a year and this is one of them. Clearly the OP is not about quantity, or quality.

Sadly everyone on mac rumors seems to want Apple to fail and only post troll threads such as this one.

Why do the trolls come in droves when they appear? I wanna know. This site needs some kinda troll prevention, because half the topics is just that.

Did you miss the other half of his answer, that there are AT&T and Verizon towers ON CAMPUS (ie EXTREMELY good signal quality)

Guess what! We are all made of squishy meat that loves to block radio signals. Seriously "anntennagate" is just a massive troll fest and I'm really sick of it.

I buy Apple products. I think thet're great.

But this part of the presentation made me realize how much of a douche Steve is.

"Uh, uh, yeah, other phones have these problems, but I'm not going to show you them."

The guy asking the question made himself look like an idiot, the video showed it and in good signal areas even the iPhone 4 doesn't drop bars.

Slang for "ritardando" - a place in the music where you slow it down.

Yeah, I knew that. Did the OP? Anyone who comes on a public forum and uses that word, is clearly ignorant. I appreciate you answering my rhetorical question, though.
