Just ordered iPhone 16 Pro and really sad to see FineWoven go (thank you everyone btw. for this constant nagging - my FineWoven case looks better after 1 year than my former Apple leather cases - not sure what everyone was complaining about but my wear and tear is minimal) - and I really like the soft touch of the FineWoven case - Apple seems to be too sensitive to a few negative comments? Please note

So what alternatives can I get now for iPhone 16 Pro - similar to FineWoven on iPhone 15 Pro? Thank you

Do you honestly think the people of this forum had any deciding factor in Apple discontinuing FineWoven cases?!

No... the fact they had endless replacemant warranty returns and had to issue refunds for unhappy buyers is the reason.

Apple Leather cases were historically extremely popular, even after they changed leather style for the 12-14 series. Apple killed it. Fine woven were extremely unpopular and likely cost Apple more money than what they made selling them so they killed it. Regardless of what we think about cases, Apple makes its own choices. This forum has no bearing on what Apple does. If we did have that power then the leather would be back.

There are lots of other fabric type cases out there that you might enjoy. A few people on here swear by alcantara cases which are likely much nicer than finewoven.

I have a fine woven and it has held up much better than the 14 and up leather cases. They always peeled and fell apart with no patina in recent years like the original leather cases. The fine woven had held up and actually looks pretty good after regular use with no changes. I haven’t not bought an Apple Case in a long time but I don’t like silicone cases. OtterBox and Beats are fine I guess but I’ll shop around.

And/or low sales

I LOVED the feel of the fine woven cases. Looking for an alternative as well for my Iphone 16 Pro.

Look at Peak Design cases and Mous (Green and Blue cases). Those are similar to the FineWoven.

I like my PeakDesign case but I don’t really care for the magnets in it and the square cutout. I have no use for either.

Well, for the magnet, it’ll pick up keys or whatever and stick to metal objects through my pants. Do the magnets in the iPhones 14/15 do the same?
