I need help. While I was trying to reset my Mac I accidentally deleted the volume of Macintosh HD Data. After that I was trying to reinstall the OS but it says "The target volume is part of incomplete system and can not be installed to". I hope someone can help me..
 
If you were trying to reset everything I don't see the accident. In your recovery Disk Utility, click view and select to show all Devices, not just volumes. Then select the whole drive, not the container or individual volumes, and erase it. Go back to the installer and select to install to the newly erased drive
