443, phobos.apple.com, albert.apple.com, gs.apple.com i cant figure it out!!! My computer is a Mac. Please help!!!

but itunes recognizes my ipod. i just cant get it to restore. how do you get to where u can open ports?

did you actually put it in dfu mode? if you're on a mac, plug in the ipod/iphone. hold down the sleep/power button for 2 secs, without letting go push the home button and the power button for 10 secs, then let go of the power button and hold the home button for another 30 secs. You should be able to restore now. If this doesn't work, try using disk utility. It's under Applications/Utilities. The iPhone should show up, and click restore from there. If all else fails, take it into apple. good luck!;)
