I quit iTunes, it reopens by itself

No matter how I quit iTunes, by some reason, it reopens itself. I searched around but still no solution to this issue. I already repaired permissions, but I do not want to restart since I want to find at least what is causing the problem. Is not the first time this happens to me. BTW, is not widget related because I dont have any iTunes widget, since its a new leopard installation
 
That's odd... do you have some ipod 3rd party thing attached? CoverSutra? is Itunes a startup item?

Does a song start playing when it starts up? Did you try force quitting it?
 
I had that problem happen to me twice with my Macbook. I believe it happened after a download. In both cases a complete shut down and restart cleared up the problem of iTunes not wanting to shut down.
 
I tried force quitting, and no, songs dont play after it opens by itself. Also I have no 3rd party apps. I had to restart twice in order to make iTunes work properly
 
I've heard of some widgets doing this. Have you installed any iTunes-related ones?
