I regret getting the iPhone 6 and I realized too late , is there something I can do?

Yes I'm terrible I know , so here goes my story , I've had android since what it feels like forever , but got tired of all of the reloading , the terribly slow updates and just wanted to tried iOS .

I was debating between getting the 6 and 6 plus and it I decided to get the 6 because of the whole 6+ bendgate drama , and also the absurdely big bezels which make the phone unwieldy . In the end I ended up really liking the iPhone 6 but turns out I miss a bigger screen , call me crazy but I miss the 1080p screens , I study design so trust me I can see the difference since I work with pixels , vectors and fonts pretty much everyday .

The battery life is underwhelming , I listen to music everyday on the train on the way to university , to work , use the Gps quite a bit and the phone is dying on me by 3 pm everyday , a friend has the 6+ and he uses it with the apple leather case and it feels more comfortable in the hand , and damn I want to exchange my 6 for a 6 plus , but it has already been a month and a 10 days since I got the phone , as far as I know in Germany you only get 15 to exchange the device , but I don't know Apple has their owns , is there 0 chance that they will exchange the device ? Maybe if I complain about the poor battery life ? I'm being naive I know , but I still wanted to ask ...
 
You're past the return period, so the only thing you could do at this point is sell your 6 and use the money you get for that to purchase the 6+.
 
You're only option now is to sell it as the others have stated.
 
Might try a trade of your 6, plus some cash for a 6+ from someone who is looking to go down to a 6. Just an added thought.
 
maybe someone by you is willing to trade from a 6 plus to a 6, but you would have to give them a decent offer on top of the 6 since the plus is 100 dollars more starting base model. or you can sell the 6 and put it torwards the Plus. I went from a 6 to a 6 plus and i never looked back, i love my 6 plus tremendously and am very happy i switched to it. the 1080p screen, OIS, the 5.5 inch screen and absurdly good battery life is all worth it

playing music on the train to work shouldnt kill your battery much at all....have you followed battery life tips also

Yeah sell/trade up for one. That's what I did, and been on 6+ since mid November now. Had a 6 since launch.

Personally I'd sell it then just buy a 6+ outright, that way you don't have to worry about getting scammed

I could always suck it up and wait until the 6+s gets released but were still good 7 months away from that happening , my phone is in pristine condition but I doubt someone will buy it for 700 euros ( the 64 go version ) when a new costs "just 100 euros more " , we'll see how it goes , and to think I could have had exchanged for free , but it really took me a while to realize it ...
 
You might want to post in the Marketplace forum here. Say that you have an iPhone 6, and are interested in trading it and some cash for a 6+.

Who knows, you might get lucky and find someone in the exact opposite situation; you'll solve each other's problems and everyone will be happy.

If you have the money, sell it at a loss and buy what you want. If you don't, a cheaper option is a battery backup case. It's not ideal, but it will get you where you need to be in terms of battery life.

Depending info on how much GPS you're using, the 6 plus won't last all day without a charger. An hour of God will hit my battery a good 15-20%. Streaming music I wouldn't think would hurt that bad. I used to stream about 3-4 hours a day on my 5s, and 5 before that, and never had an issue where I was dead by 3pm.

Yes we do need a thread. It keeps in line with all the other useless threads on this forum. Besides the man choose poorly he needs support from his fellow geeks on how to handle his emotions.
 
Search CL daily to see if someone is looking for a 6. Trade them plus cash on your end.

Or just suck it up for the 7-8 months and get the 6S Plus later this year.

Find someone on CL in your local area that wants to trade for your model. People posts those request all the time. Agree to meet at your carrier's store if you find someone.

Wait for the 6S+. Apple is bound to make an already good phone even better. By the time you get a 6+ in hand, it'll be 6 months till the new iPhones are out. Just stick it out with the awesome 6.

Though, like some suggest, if you can manage to find someone who wants to swap, that might be worth a try.

This a great solution for you. I am sure you can get someone to switch phones with you. I would meet at a very public place or your carrier store to make sure the phone you are switching to is not stolen.
There are people in the opposite situation you are in now. They bought a phone but really wanted an iphone. So they would gladly switch with you. Here it is http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/de/

If you wish to just sell it outright, try http://www.swappa.com . I have bought and sold quite a few phones there.

I was in a similar situation. I wanted the 6+ since it was rumored, but when I saw it at launch at the Apple Store, I said, "way too big". So I opted (in my mind) for the 6, until I was ready to make the purchase back in Dec. 2014. Someone here at MacRumors mentioned the extended holiday return policy in a post. I went into Apple, got the 6+ on a whim and I never even gave the 6 a consideration from that point on. The best part was, 2 days prior to my final return date, the sim-free was released. I exchange my 6+ T-Mobile for the Sim-Free Version.

Go to Apple and mention to them your dissatisfaction with the 6. It doesn't hurt to try. If no success, sell it and get the 6+ or wait for the 6+S.
